Well, it seems like RMI Ltd.’s journey has been quite a rollercoaster ride! From providing material handling and storage solutions for over 25 years to expanding into fabrications, RMI has certainly come a long way. And if that's not enough, we’ve even ventured into a whole new country! Yes, you read that right!! Well it all began when my wife Michelle and I, decided to take a spontaneous trip to India. Little did we know, we would end up starting a whole new office there! Talk about a vacation turning into a work-cation! With just five designers and an office manager, we set out to make a mark in India with a cozy office space. It is then that we understood we needed a genuine designer team expansion to meet our on-going customer demands. Our demands were increasing and that meant more workforce and which in turn meant we needed a bigger office space; holy! Michelle and I then started on a lookout for office spaces. From scouting for offices in and around the city of Cochin, to finally settling on one, it was quite an adventure. Safe to say we sort of know Cochin in and out now. Our first ever designing member was Abin, who was at that point figuring out what colour to paint the walls. But it wasn't just the designers who made it happen. Teenu, our manager, also played a crucial role in making our office an office!! Soon after, Michelle and I left for the UK, leaving Teenu in charge, and boy, did she deliver! she took the completely under-construction office and turned it into a beautiful workspace. So, what started as a spontaneous trip to India turned into a beautiful workspace with 40 designers! And with the latest technologies and software, our excellent customer service is just the icing on the cake. You can be rest assured that you will be getting the best possible service from RMI. And who knows where our next adventure will take us? Maybe we'll open an office on the moon.
